Up for sale is a used copy of the legendary Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, (BMPCC), in perfect working condition. This auction includes the following:Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC) body (Original Version – HD)Original Blackmagic Front Cap2 Canon EF/EF-S Lens Adapters (1 electronic / AF, and one manual only).1 Canon front cap for adapters 3 Batteries (2 blackmagic, 1 aftermarket)Aftermarket Battery charger1 64 Gb Sandisk Extreme Pro SD Card (95 Mbps) Product DescriptionThis camera was the first of it’s kind to offer uncompressed raw cinematic video capabilities in a true, pocket-sized mini-DSLR format, with a whopping 13 stops of dynamic range. This allows you to capture stunning detail, with much more flexibility to work with files in post, whether using cinematic LUTs, or building your own grade. It’s also much much smaller than the newer “pocket” cameras (which are essentially giant DSLRs), making it much more useful for applications where size matters. It has been used in many professional productions, and was reportedly used as a crash camera for some of the motorcycle action scenes in Marvel’s Captain America Winter Soldier. Just google “BMPCC test footage” on Vimeo to see what this little camera is capable of. Lens CompatibilityThe camera uses a micro 4/3rds (MfT) lens mount, which can be easily adapted a wide variety of lenses. I have included two adapters for Canon EF/EF-S lenses – one with electronics (Jintu), and a second “dumb” adapter (Fotasy) which works for manual lenses (and traditional lenses) but without AF and auto iris support on the camera. Condition NotesTLDR: Camera body shows some notable cosmetic wear, but all electronic functions are working perfectly, and sensor is nice and clean. Please see pictures for exact condition. The camera body has some notable cosmetic wear, particularly on the rear side, top and bottom. There is some some notable damage to the metal case in the back (see pictures), there appears to be a tiny crack in the metal at the bottom near the tripod thread. The LCD also has a minor bright spot near one of the marks, but is un-cracked, and functions just fine. Despite the cosmetic wear, the camera feels very solid (unlike new cams, case is metal). All electronic elements tested worked perfectly. Sensor is nice and clean with no scratches or haze. No dead pixels were found during video raw test (sample image available upon request). All other items (batteries, etc.) should work fine. See photos for cosmetic condition. Audio quality noteOnboard mic was tested, and works properly. However BMPCCs are built for image quality, not sound, and are designed to be used with either plug in or external sound recording. The onboard audio quality is ok for reference sound, but you’ll see dramatic improvements with an external mic.
