Carl Zeiss Jena Silvamar 6×30 Swedish Military 1942, serialno.2175433 For sale here is a rare pair of Silvamar’s, by Carl Zeiss for the Swedish military, marked with Swedish three crowns, Nr.1833, 1942. The binoculars are in great condition, age and application taken into account. Optical condition is good; it has clean and clear glass. There is no fungus, no haze, no balsam separation. Minimal internal dust. Minor cleaning marks (see images), these have no practical significance. Mechanical function is also good; diopter focusing on both sides are smooth work well. Reticle in right hand tube. Collimation is good. Exterior condition is very nice (see images); expected wear from use and age, no damage. The lens comes with; leather case, marked with the Swedish ‘Three crowns’, ocular protector, harness strap, and full length straps on binoculars and case. -What to expect When buying from me you should have high expectations.
