They do not snap or hold into place without additional tape. Its not the cleanest look, however very functional. The shrouds fit flush just like the factory units, minus any moving latches or hooks. After several customers reached out with a need, I wanted to at least give a solution to help solve a problem. Users who purchase these units second hand often times are missing a shroud that should have come from the factory or they became broken. There is no source for these shrouds so a quick 3D scan of the originals were created. Any tape will due, however recommend an Aluminum foil tape which can be purchased at any hardware store. Amazon has some good options for black foil tape. We do this to have a quality product that stands up against the harsh conditions of Saltwater and UV Lighting. Our magnets are coated to resist salt water, then sealed again with our own custom PETG casing for even more protection. All of our screws are either plastic or stainless steel to resist corrosion.
