Up for sale is a Fender Japan ST-62 Reissue in 3 Tone Sunburst, in very good / excellent condition. Note the body shows a very nice grain pattern – front and back! It features a mint green pickguard, back plate and aged pick up covers, aged control knobs, pickups selector tip.It is Made in Japan (CIJ) with serial# U063XXX which indicates it was manufactured between 1995 and 1996 – a real vintage guitar now! The nut measures 42mm and the neck profile is a comfortable C shape. The fretboard has 7.25″ radius. The frets are vintage style and they shows signs of little wear. This particular model and trim has been out of production and these are extremely hard to find nowadays especially in this condition. All electronics are original including the pickups which are Fender USA Custom Shop Texas Specials which indicates this was a top of the line model. I did not get the tremolo arm with this guitar. The pots and 5 way switch are lilttle scratchy but fully functional. There are dings and scratches throughout, but nothing really major that really stands out. I imported in from Japan and it stayed in the gig bag until now. The guitar has not left the house (non-smoking). The guitar not only looks great but it plays and sounds great as well! The guitar weighs 7 lbs 11 oz. The guitar will be shipped in a generic bag but I will bubble wrap it before placing inside the gig bag to better protect it during shipping.
