Nothing needs to be done to them before being installed! Both come ready to bolt on and ride with spring and weights already in the primary and the spring and helix already in secondary! A good amount of time testing and revising these clutches on my personal Ranger 900 XP before selling these to make sure they have smooth and responsive performance.Both sides come ready to bolt on and use!
