Im selling this modified, vintage FIXED aperture projector lens (sample images have been lightly edited in lightroom) Name of Lens Block – Isco Super MC Mount – Mirrorless only Filter Size – NA Fullframe, crop or film – Mirrorless only Focal Length – 75mm Aperture – F2 Focal Range – Approx 36cm to infinity Weight – 355 grams Condition of Lens Block – 7.5/10 No scratches, fungus or haze, just some “microspots” and some minor smudging on the rear side, however images seem unaffected (also hood is missing) Lens has also been treated to UV light to kill and traces of fungus, even though i didnt notice any My opinions on the lens – The Isco 75 is a pretty nifty little lens, in that it’s quite small, has a nice little bit of heft to it but creates some simply stunning images The bokeh is much smoother than my personal taste likes, but still has that touch of vintage goodness The colors are somewhat muted and not as rich and but the sharpness levels are a little better than what im used to seeing from projector lenses (see spider pic, that was at closest focus and the spider was smaller than my pinkie fingernail) details are nice and sharp One thing i haven’t noticed on any of my other mods before is the presence of longitudinal chromatic aberrations this lens shows, i noticed it on the “toaster” photo in the text. Probably not a big deal, just something i noticed Flare is subtle and has many rainbow veils, probably stronger in sunlight. Use this lens creatively and smartly I would suggest Oh and the gold exterior turns heads and people seem to be drawn to it, be ready to explain what lens this is haha!
