Imposing Italian handmade ceramic horse sculpture in the vibrant signature blue of Aldo Londi’s iconic art pottery collection Rimini Blu, originally designed in 1959 for Bitossi Ceramiche and imported by Raymor in the 1960s. The deep blue glaze varies in turquoise and aqua green shades and undertones and has a beautiful sheen. The hand carved patterns of lines, dots and Xs on each figurine produce a Brutalist mid-century modern aesthetic. The whole is finished in a gorgeous high quality glaze. The two horses are available for sale separately; please input desired quantity at checkout. Bitossi (or Manifattura Cavaliere Bitossi e Figlia) was founded by Guido Bitossi in Florence, Italy in 1921 and is still operational today.
