Please read!!! Up for sale is the LIONEL Standard Scale LOCOMOTIVE 10E With 3 PASSENGER Cars 332, 339, 341 set. 6 pieces of track are included. I do not know what the grading scale would be on this train set. I am going to provide as much details as possible. I think this is an older restoration on this set because of the paint and electrical additions. I’ll explain more in detail. The overall condition of the train set is in good shape with some cosmetic issues on the exterior. The locomotive has a dent below the one headlight. The headlight where the dent is, is chipped off. You can see where you put the light bulb in is where the bulb socket is chipped off around the edge. The dented area has paint that chipped off. There’s a missing piece on the front of the locomotive platform and a missing stanchion where the grab iron is. It’s shown in the pictures. The locomotive runs forward and reverse. It has the E-unit. The wheels and gears have no issues and run smoothly. The motor and gears are original. Not sure if the wheels are original or reproduction pieces because you can find reproduction standard gauge pieces these days. It looks like there were modifications done on the locomotive with toggle switches installed. The locomotive has a wire that connects to the passenger cars to light them up. The passenger cars have some cosmetic issues as well. Looks like old white paint got splattered onto the cars as shown in the pictures. You can see some areas where there’s chipped paint on the cars. The Railway car no.332 has a dent in the middle of the roof. All cars have wires running beneath to connect each other for lighting. You can see soldering done to the wheels underneath the cars. All cars light up. The coupler on the observation car no. 341 has been snapped off as shown in the pictures. One side door is missing on Pullman no. 339 car. The set also has 6 pieces of standard gauge track that has missing pins in them. They came with the train set. I am selling this as is. This set is about 90 percent complete. It can be restored a little bit more if needed or left as is. I did not want to restore it because I would not be able to restore it properly. I rather have someone else do it.
