eBay Purple Helios 44-2 58mm F2 Anamorphic flare & Bokeh cine mod lens for M4\3 MFT Description This lens are a cheaper alternative to real anamorphic lenses. It uses an oval element and a strip of reflective metal that is housed inside the lens during manufacturing. This lens are amazing to play with. The oval element works and the bokeh looks as if it was really shot with an anamorphic lens. The metal element down the center of the lens amplified lens flares and guided the light across the image to achieve the iconic horizontal lens flare. This modification preserve natural color of footage, so you can shoot low light and daylight scenes without any color correction issues. Helios-44 is a Soviet copy of the Carl Zeiss Biotar 2 / 58mm. The lens is known for its “swirly” bokeh outside of focus areas and good focus in the center of the frame. -The diaphragm markings are working correctly. ( If you have dealt with Soviet lenses, you know that on many of them the diaphragm markings are not working correctly.
