The measuring head can be rotated 280 degrees. The traditional dome sphere can be removeable, and accessories like viewfinders can be installed. Measurements can be done in ambient, flash in a corded or non corded mode which takes a measurement after detecting a firing flash. The center bottom of the face has a pc sync cord connection. Measurements can be displayed on the LCD in EV mode as well as a traditional aperture and shutter speed. This is a shutter priority meter meaning you choose the desired shutter speed with buttons on the side of the body and when pressing the measure function; the proper aperture is calculated and displayed. A cine mode is also available. To change to cine mode start in ambient mode and increase the shutter speed to above 1/8000 of a sec. Cine will be displayed on the LCD. By default it uses a 180 degree measurement angle. Using other angles require changing the ISO, for 160 degrees set the ISO down 1/3 of a stop by press the down arrow once; with 220 degrees set up 1/3 pressing up button. Requires just an inexpensive 1.5v AA/ LR6 battery. There is a calibration screw in the battery compartment to adjust the exposure reading levels. This is helpful when working with multiple meters and want to sync them for similar exposures. It can also be used if you like to frequently under or over expose your images. Like the previous model there is a memory feature available to store a previous settings. This model can store up to the last three readings.
