New High Quality 16″ Size Viola Solid Wood Intermediate Level Viola (1 Bow) This is a very beautiful SKYVA306 student Viola outfit that comes complete with One (1) Brazilwood bow. This Viola is set up and ready to play, hand carved with high gloss finish, solid hand-carved spruce top and solid hand-carved highly flamed maple back, sides, neck and scroll. This Viola has beautiful inlaid purling, and pegs, fingerboard and chinrest are made from ebony wood. Tailpiece is made from jujube wood with one (1) high quality built in fine tuners. High quality Austrian rosin cake is included. Bow has double pearl eye, genuine unbleached Mongolian horsehair, nice light weight case and rosin. It also comes with a new fitted bridge and high quality strings. Great sound. Lightweight case has rain proof canvas exterior and shoulder straps with sheet music pocket and accessory compartment. 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects. Limited lifetime warranty applies only to original purchaser of bow. Hair is not covered by warranty, except for its installation. (In other words, if a bow’s original hair falls out, that is covered.) Original hair installation is covered for a period of six months. Damage caused by neglect or misuse of bows is not covered. Wooden bows react to changes in temperature and humidity. One common result of exposure to extremes of temperature of humidity is warpage. The Sky Music Strings warranty does not cover warpage. Please also note that bows left tight for long periods of time are likely to warp. To protect your bow from warping, always be sure to loosen it after playing. Bone or imitation ivory tips plates are designed to protect the bow’s fragile tips. These can be damaged either by dropping or hitting of the bow tip , or by hair wedges that are installed too tightly. For this reason, Sky Music Strings limits its warranty of tip plates to one year, or until the first re-hair, whichever comes first. The sticks of Carbon Fiber bows and fiberglass bows and carbon composite bows are warranted for life against warpage and breaking. The finish of these bows is not covered by warranty.
