So this one’s a bit of a Game Boy grail. Not only are you looking at a brand new and sealed Nintendo Game Boy Pocket (Australian release), but the original Pokémon PokeTour September-October 1999 shopping bag it was sold in. Wow. There really can’t be many, if any, units like this. It’s a special find and one that’s been in my collection forever – so it’s especially hard to let it go. As you’ll see from the photos, this unit is minty. The case has been stored inside another plastic bag inside the Pokémon bag. So it looks like the day it came out of the Nintendo factory box. There is one flaw however. The sealed batteries inside the case appear to have leaked. The leak is confined to the area around the batteries and has no leaked into the case, but it is visible. I’m unsure how or if this would impact a grading should you should to grade it. The Game Boy Pocket and case are not impact by this flaw. Happy to provide further photos or videos to show this flaw if helpful. The PokeTour bag is worn and has lots of creases, but no holes or tears. The sticker seal is immaculate – please see the photos. It has never been tampered with. This is a truly unique Nintendo item! I’ll be take extra care to pack and post this one and will very happily post worldwide.
