Please read the applicable details before asking questions. I know it’s a lot, but it’s sectioned for ease and main points are put in bold type if you have questions. Thank you! Be advised I cannot ship these items to a mail forwarding service/address! I can ship to US residences and official Federal USPS Post Office boxes Only.~ Important! ~If you want multiple pieces, PLEASE add them to your cart and pay in ONE transaction! Preferably request an invoice first. Please note as said below, most of these will ship gently rolled! Origin and Rarity~ This listing has various vintage case ‘cover art’ display pieces and all are official and were licensed to be made for Gamestop and/or EBGames only, in/before 2008. These are not the ones that have the green text boxes on the front that were sent to any big store that carried games (Target, Best Buy, Blockbuster etc) which are more common. These ones were made specifically for GameStop and/or EBGames since they specialized in video games only, which is why these are the more rare and limited ones. Their artwork was a little different (specialized for gamers) and were only sent to GameStops and EBGames’ specifically. These are all of: Sony Playstation 2, 3, Portable (PS2, PS3, PSP), Nintendo Wii, Gamecube, DS (Wii, GC, DS), Original Microsoft Xbox, Xbox360 (XB, XB360), and PC (PC/DVD Rom/ Windows).There are also ones with multiple system logos (Multi). These are most of my collection from working in the game industry for many years, and I obtained them directly, so they are 100% authentic, and from the pre-2008 era, only intended for GameStop and EBGames. There are NO games, manuals, pamphlets, cases or any other items included. This is for the promo cover art ONLY. Condition/Size/Material~ Most are a semi-thin glossy poster paper, but some are a little thicker, and a few are very thick where I will have to ship those few flat. None of them have stickers on them! All that you see is printed on the paper itself. Nearly all are made the same size or close in size to fit the cases of the respective games. The DS art with the black sections on top and bottom were part of a marketing promo to be used in full size cases, but can be cut down too. Most are new and never displayed or used, only 26 of the 150+ were used. The used ones were still stored flat after use so their spine bends (from the cases) have flattened out a lot over time, and these are the ones I call ‘gently used’. But new ones have some flaws too usually, due to the thinner material. So please see all the photos of the ones you are interested in. I included photos of the more major ‘flaws’, but some minor indents might not be included. I labeled the used ones in their full display photo with either ‘Used’ or ‘Gently used’. Flaws are shown after the first three pictures of each piece. I put them directly in the lamp light so you can see them clearly, though that does sometimes make them appear worse than they are (it’s a highlighting lamp). If there are only three photos total, then that means it’s in ‘like new’ condition and excellent! Flaws~ I thoroughly checked all of the pieces and showed any major notable flaws in the photos, but please be mindful most of these are very easily dented simply by being handled, so must be handled very carefully once you receive them. Duplicates~ I do have duplicates of many titles, but only list one at a time to ensure you see the condition of the actual one you are buying. The listing will update a few times a week to replenish, but you’re welcome to message to see if I have duplicates if you see one you like that is sold out already. Shipping and Packaging Details~ I absolutely combine shipping and packages! Several pieces should be the same cost as one. Large quantities and/or expensive items will be a bit more. Please request an invoice after adding to cart, for accurate shipping cost. All photos are of the actual item you will receive. Please note that they will ship gently rolled (not tightly), and in a box to protect them. They will include great protection! A select few will ship flat due to thickness, but please expect them to be shipped rolled. You will need to gently unroll them and flatten them out (put under something smooth, flat and heavy usually) when you receive them. They will be carefully packaged to preserve their condition (gently rolled as stated), and shipped via USPS Ground Advantage with tracking and insurance. I’ve handled these pieces in the industry for many years and know how to carefully handle them without causing damage; however please take care when you unbox them and handle them, as you can easily dent the thinner ones simply by putting pressure between your fingers to hold it. “What kind of promo cover art are they?”~ They vary in what type of promo they are. Some say “For Display Only”, many have “RP” (‘Rating Pending’), some say they are promo only, have the price printed on it, or ‘doesn’t include the game’ and etc.. Many have concept/alternative art different than the final released art on the actual games, and many variants as well. There are only a small handful that are the exact same as the official released art that came with the games, so they make great replacements (though the material may be thicker, which is actually better!). But they also display amazingly as uncirculated art. They were still supposed to be used before the game’s release as ‘promo’ art, so that’s why they qualify to be called promo art, just with a different thickness (usually). Please look at each carefully to determine what makes them a promo art item, but feel free to ask questions if you’re unsure. There are also so many that have concept art. These are some of the exceptionally rare finds. The Castlevania PSP art (white one) is one of my favorite examples of that. Some also have multiple different cover art variations (the Mario Party DS and Transformers are good examples of this). Pricing~ I tried to price these fairly to the best of my ability and actual lengthy research, but only a handful have been on ebay (or otherwise online) before, so I based most of them off similar titles online (if available, but wasn’t common), age, condition, rarity, popularity and all my experience of their following from my many years in the industry. Many of these specific art pieces will likely never be seen again on ebay and haven’t been seen before. They are more rare since they are GS/EB only, vintage (16+ years old) and were very commonly destroyed after use. To have them unused from back then and for GS/EB only, is rare in itself.
