Rare Antique HAVILAND “Belvidere” Limoges, France China Dinner & Serving Ware. Note the spelling of Belvidere is with an “i”; there is a different pattern by Haviland, and others, with only “e” in the name. Pattern Description: This Belvidere pattern features a White background with Cream Rim, White, Yellow & Rose Floral design, Grey Rim Pattern, Smooth Edges with Gold Trim. Red inner ring. Made in Limoges, France. Maker’s Marks: This set of Haviland Fine China, is marked with both the Green Printed “Haviland-France” maker’s mark for the manufacturer’s blanks and the Red Printed “Decorated by Haviland & Co. Limoges” decorator’s mark. These marks indicates production dates of ca. 1893 to 1931. Condition: Overall in excellent century old condition. Light shelf wear and light to moderate wear to gold trim on some pieces. There are no cracks, repairs or crazing. The soles of plates are soiled and can benefit from a good cleanser. A couple of pieces have small chips and are listed separately. See photos. Pricing is per individual piece.
