Rare Antique THEODORE HAVILAND Footed Cup & Saucer white and pink wild roses This pattern looks like the Schleiger 837a which shows pink and white rose garlands with green and grey stems and leaves. The cup shows flowers inside and outside. It has a brushed gold rim. The brushed gold rim “flows” in the inside and outside the cup. The small foot of the cup shows 4 evenly placed, gold spot accents. The embossed handle has gold accents on the sides. The saucer has a gold brushed edge with the gold flowing slightly towards the middle. The backstamp on both items with the underlined “Theodore” was used by Theodore Haviland in 1903. You also find the initials “TH” hard to read incised in the bottom of the cup. The set is in excellent used condition. No chips, no crazing, no scratches visible.
