Extremely rare Shark SP-95 Repeater C02 Air Pistol in original box with paperwork and in pristine condition. This rare particular piece was owned by Dr. Robert D. Beeman (of Beeman Air-guns). This comes with two barrels, 4.5mm and 5.5mm., quick change barrels, excellent working action, but has not been personally tested. The longer barrel has a plum patina to it and the serial numbers all match on the barrel and on the frame #556). This number also matches the box on both sides. This also comes with the paperwork, in Spanish. The bores are excellent, bright, and with strong rifling. The left side top of the frame where the barrel slides into shows a small threaded hole, I believe there was a small brass screw that you could tighten that would go up against the barrel. The barrels are tight when the bolt is locked into place though. Shark manufacturing Co was located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Shark began in 1975 and originally started making underwater spear guns. In 1979 they began making the CQ Sharp Air Rifles and then later made these SP Models but in very limited numbers, only 700 of these were made. These pieces have practically been handmade in a small plant which had only grown to 10 employees. Because of the very limited production and the fact that these were normally made for Argentina and Chile, they are very rarely seen in most countries. Their rarity and unusually interesting and very well built mechanisms make these highly wanted by collectors. Only a very few of the total production run of this model have ever left Argentina. Local specimens may show extremely hard usage. This one escaped that fate and was in Dr. Beeman’s collection. Has been in storage for some years, so may need seals, etc. PROVENANCE: From the personal private collection of Dr. Robert D. Beeman (of Beeman Airguns) and has a brass tag on trigger stating this along with it numbered, #1394. A pristine piece belonging to a top leader in the industry. Comes with original box, and paperwork.
