SIGNED Copies of this Title are Scarce and Becoming Increasingly Hard to Find!! Hardcover with its original dust jacket, NOT price-clipped! Original price of $24.95.Published by Warner Books: New York, 1991. Boldly SIGNED by the celebrated author!NOT inscribed, simply and elegantly SIGNED by the great Alexandra Ripley! A First American Edition/Second Printing.Please remember this is NOT the First Edition/First Printing of this title! This is the Second Printing of the First Edition with “First printing: September 1991” clearly stated on the copyright page and the number line ending with “2”. Once again, this is not a First Edition/First Printing. This rare treasure has some VERY clearly visible wear, but is still in Highly Collectible condition!While still in Highly Desirable condition, the wear is considerable and should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no foxing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE.The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean!Some general/shelf wear along with creases/wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards and marks/foxing/wear to the edge/fore pages.The most unfortunate wear affects the pages.Numerous pages have creases/marks/wear, varying in size and severity.Some of the creases/wear has resulted in some very clearly visible warping of the pages.While some of the pages simply appear to have been “dog eared”, other pages have liquid/water damage which has caused the warping of the affected pages.The wear to the pages is extensive and VERY clearly visible!All of the wear, but particularly the creases/warping/marks that are present on the pages, should be carefully examined/considered. The original, dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped!Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing and marks.There are also some large ,arks on the inside of the dust jacket!Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges!The wear, particularly near/along the edges, is VERY clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this RARE book.Our VERY LOW asking price is a reflection of that consideration and if this copy was in better condition our asking price would be considerably higher.We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear.Once again, we want to reiterate that the wear to both the book and the dust jacket is EXTENSIVE and VERY clearly visible!The wear to both the book and the dust jacket should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.
