Listing is for three (3) separately sold Solido French AMX 10-P Infantry Fighting Vehicle, # 254, 1:50, Die-cast Metal, Near Mint Condition, desert tan colored, Famous Battles Series. AMX 10-P Infantry Fighting Vehicle (“IFV”) is 4 1/2″ Long x 2 1/2″ Wide x 2 3/8″ High, with a Giat 20 mm automatic cannon, which moves up and down, and turns 360 degrees, and a machine gun. Vehicle trends are metal and turn smoothly. 3/1978 date is on bottom of vehicle. IFV has a rear door than opens to allow infantry in and out. It has a front plate that opens when hydro jets are on to help it swim in water. It has nuclear, biological, and chemical (“NBC”) protection and amphibious capabilities, with hydro jets to swim in water. Model lacks a seated small half-soldier, which is a common for AMX 10-Ps that are 30 years old. Solido vehicle was made in France. Currently, these are only Solido French AMX 10-P Infantry Fighting Vehicles being sold on EBay. FYI, Seller has sold 3 of this vehicle for same listing price!I am downsizing and listing/selling on EBay some of my personal collection. Photographs are part of description. Since APC does not come with its original box, seller is providing a new white corrugated double-walled cardboard box with a flap that opens and closes easily to protect it during shipping, and will be wrapped in bubble wrap to protect it. Solido tanks are aptly named, as they are truly “solid” with very heavy die-cast metal bodies. They are quite detailed, and the quality is fabulous! Please note that typically, Solido tanks and armored fighting vehicles are made in a 1:50 scale while the support vehicles, which include the jeeps and staff cars, are produced in a slightly larger 1:43 scale. Also, Solido military and firefighting models are built so well that over 40 years later they are as good as they were when they were built and first sold. Truly this is quite remarkable!
