The midrange is ruler flat, and the bass is tight and accurate. Telefunken tubes generally have a fine sense of dynamics and, unsurprising to their German heritage, are impressively quiet. Especially these Red Tips. But they are not warm tubes. To some ears the midrange will not only lack warmth but will feel bright. They feel accurate without being clinical, and their clean focused sonic image is nothing short of astonishing.
