VINTAGE EAMES CHAIRS HERMAN MILLER 50s 60s DSW MIDCENTURY IMPERFECTIONS #4364 Click images to enlarge Description Set of 4 DSW side chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames and made by Herman Miller in the late 50s/early 60s. Original fibreglass shells mounted on shockmounts with used wooden bases. Colours (left to right) are: coral orange, parchment, seafoam and light greige The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age beautifully. All with original Herman Miller stamp. Mounted on dowel bases. These are grade B seconds with slight flaws to the shells so that they don’t meet the grade of the high standard chairs we sell. Nonetheless, they are perfectly useable and sound and are priced accordingly. Please see photos for specific details as to condition. In particular: Coral – slight cosmetic crack on the righthand side. parchment – very fibery seafoam- small chip on side Light Greige – very fibery They are all structurally sound. The seats and bases will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired. Please message us in this case and we will let you have a shipping quote. Dimensions: Height 81cm Depth 53cm Width 47cm Seat height 45cm Payment Payment is due within 7 days of auction. Payment can be made by Paypal, cheque, postal order or cash (if collecting in person). All payments must clear our account before an item can be delivered, posted or collected. Shipping We have posting days three times a week.
