Up for sale is a rare KABAR USA made knife from the 1930s to 1940s time period. This information was gathered from a tang stamp chart of KABAR knives. The particular model is not marked because it does not seem like standard practice at the time. The guard seems to be made of brass. This knife looks to have bovine bone handles. KABAR has not made bone handle knives in a long time and probably won’t ever again. There are also some wood or bakelite spacers. The knife comes with a KABAR branded USA made leather sheath. The blade has signs of normal use and some sharpening but overall its in great shape for something that’s around 80 or 90 years old. Please ask if you have any more questions, thank you!
