ITEM TITLE A Tom Gellespie Apprentice Hand Made Razor Hawkbill Knife I don’t know very much about knives, but I purchased this at an estate sale. They told me that “This Knife was Hand Made by an Apprentice Knife Maker and it is in Good Condition and It is a “GENUINE *HAND MADE* Old Fashioned Pic Bone ~ 2 Blade Razor and Hawkbill Pocket Knife and (not a plastic look alike).” The Nickel Silver Bolsters have no tarnish on them. Both blades open and close great and they have the half stops. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. The Knife Blades are a shiny silver color and are much brighter than in the photo, as the picture was taken indoors. The Knife Stand in the photos is not included. It is a Hand Made Tom Gellespie Knife. This Knife is Very Durable and was MADE TO LAST A LIFETIME! MADE IN THE USA! The size is (5 & 9/16″) Open and (3 & 3/16″) Closed. The Razor Blade measures (2 & 5/16″ long). The Hawkbill Blade is (2 & 3/8″ long). The thickness on this Razor Hawkbill Knife is about 1/2″ on the bolster side, 9/16″ in the middle and 5/8″ on the side that the blade tips rest in. When open, the knife handle width at the bolster is about 1/2″ and 5/8″ at the widest place. A Beautiful Pic Bone Knife and a great Collectors Item! This Knife also came with paperwork that says: “It is a Hand Made Tom Gellespie Knife – HAND FORGED BY AN APPRENTICE” with a Limited Lifetime Warranty! There are some tiny cracks, scratches and chips, and the blade edges need to be sharpened due to light use and old age. Otherwise this knife LOOKS ALMOST LIKE NEW!!! PLEASE BID WITH CONFIDENCE!
