What is the difference between a flexi/floppy and a rigid/thick stamp? The rigid/thick mat is twice the thickness (1/2″-1″ thick) and has nylon handle inserts. Use the rigid/thick mat to stamp the majority of the stamping job. The flexi/floppy has no handles and is about half the thickness of a rigid which allows you to bend the mat at a 90 degree angle. The floppy mat can be used to stamp around the edges of the stamping area, walls, stairs and hard to get at areas such as corners.
